Kenya Gatomboya
The Gatomboya washing station is a member of the Barichu Cooperative Society just like Gaturiri, their sister washing station across the valley. We’re proud to welcome Gatomboya to our Direct Trade arsenal with this lot which was cultivated under the shade of Gravellea, Macadamia, and Eucalyptus trees. After depulping, coffee beans are fermented overnight, washed, fermented again for up to 24 hours, washed thoroughly in elongated channels, soaked and dried on raised beds.
