Holler Mountain Blend
A syrupy, heavy body supports dark toned notes of blackberry, hazelnut and toffee in our Holler Mountain.
- 12 oz bag
Holler Mountain blend features certified organic coffees from Central and South America, East Africa and Indonesia. As with all of our coffees, the producers who contribute their coffee to this blend devote attention to the cultivation and processing of the coffee.
This popular organic offering flourishes as a versatile blend designed to perform well in a variety of brew methods. From its inception, we built this blend to produce a dynamic, yet integrated organic espresso option that would remain stable year round and provide an approachable cup. It displays a subtle resemblance to our Hair Bender Blend, but fills out the low end with a heavier body and rich, chocolate sweetness.
Holler Mountain remains our most popular certified organic coffee in part due to the meticulous cherry selection and processing at each farm that contributes to this blend. We also continually taste this blend and each of its components to maintain the balance of flavors.
LATIN AMERICA AND EAST AFRICA: Fully washed coffees from East Africa and Central and South America bring floral and fruit notes as well as deep layers of sweetness similar to toffee and caramel. Cherry flotation, extended fermentation, soaking and proper storage are key elements to providing the lively, delicious and clean flavors found in the East African and Latin American coffees of Holler Mountain.
INDONESIA: A semi-washed coffee from the Aceh Province of the Sumatra Island in Indonesia provides creaminess as well as the weight, body and syrupy mouthfeel that help tie together other flavor elements in this blend.
