We’re pleased to present the first single origin offering from Cariamanga, a beautiful coffee from 20 farmers in the Procafeq cooperative in the Loja region. They utilized hand cranked depulpers to remove the cherry, fermented their coffee for 16-24 hours then washed it in the same plastic tanks. They dried the parchment on covered raised beds. We worked with Procafeq to identify an area with potential for the best quality where we could incentivize hard work and extra effort, and set the stage for the beginnings of a long term relationship.
