Under the skillful management of David Rubanzangabo, the head agronomist of the SPREAD project, and Tim Schilling, SPREAD's project manager, the Huye Mountain project and washing station has grown to include 500 farmers. Their fine cherry selection shows clearly in the cup. After depulping, the beans are fermented overnight, washed and laid to dry on raised beds for about 15 days.
