The Catimor varietal is a hybrid of the Timor and Caturra varietals that was developed in Brasil to provide high yields and resistance to disease. Cup quality is almost always inferior to that of other varietals, mainly due to the influence of Robusta in the Timor strain. However, the Indonesian strain has shown shimmers of promise with a pronounced herbal and fruit rind flavor apparent in well processed coffees.

  • Laden with aromas of blackberry compote and tamarind, this cup has flavors of plum, blackberry, toffee and earth, finishing sweetly with buttery caramel.
