Caturra

Caturra, a Brazilian cultivar, is a higher yielding mutation of Bourbon. Caturra qualifies as a dwarf cultivar with trees that do not reach the same heights as Bourbon. Despite Caturra’s beginnings, it became less prevalent in Brazil and more common to Colombia, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Cup quality typically includes bright acidity, low-to-medium body and less clarity and sweetness than Bourbon.
