Villalobos

Villalobos

Villalobos is a mutation of the Typica variety developed in Costa Rica. It is similar to the Typica varietal in that the branches form at a 60 degree angle from the tree’s body and has bronzed colored leaves. Villalobos produces very well at higher altitudes, are extremely resistant to wind and can even produce well in nutrient deprived soils. Optimum quality is thought to be obtained in well shaded regions. Villalobos is known for its outstanding sweetness and fine acidity.
