Villasarchi is a hybrid of the Bourbon varieties developed in the West Valley Costa Rican town of Sarchi. Branches form at a 45 degree angle from the tree’s body and has scattered, bronzed covered leaves. Villasarchi produces well at high altitudes, under shade canopies and with little chemical inputs making it great for farms producing with organic methods. The Villasarchi varietal has elegant acidity, intense fruit tones and excellent sweetness.
